As the first company worldwide, all Miele's production plants have been accredited according to the international DIN EN ISO 14001 environmental standard.
Environmental awareness
Miele has been awarded the internationally acclaimed DIN EN ISO 14001 certification and EC regulation No. 761/2001.
The results of heating with natural gas are convincing. Compared with the electrically heated tumble dryer T 6185, Miele's new gas tumble dryer consumes approx. 47% less primary energy. And burdens the environment with approx. 51% less CO2.
Air is invisible
According to Germany's DVGW, the official water and gas regulatory body, the moisture-laden air and the minimal combustion residues from a Miele gas-heated tumble dryer can be vented to atmosphere together via the same duct.
Instant energy
The air needed for drying on the Miele T 6185 is heated using natural gas. Electricity is only required for the drive system and the controls. This shift from a secondary to a primary source of energy reduces energy losses and lower energy consumption.
